I have been on a bit of a social media sabbatical lately. Life has finally calmed down for me and I have the time to do what I love most – quilt! Lots of almost finished work that I will share over the next week or so. In the mean time, here is a photo of a quilt I worked quite some time ago, but finally got it hung on my wall. The talented Kristen Groman of Sunshine Quilting, http://www.sunshinequilting.com/ taught a class on New York Beauty Quilts a few years back. I took the class (it was soooo much fun, BTW), and decided to make something to hang in my house – not something I normally do! So I had this big empty wall in my living room… and here is the final product! Oh – did I mention that there are stairs going down that you can’t see? So basically, my hero hubby rigged up a way to hang a quilt 12-15 ft above him. Hugs to my hero, hugs to Kristen!
